What the FLINK?!

What did I say, yesterday?! NO MORE MOVES THIS WEEK!

I think Burke winning the cup has gone to TraderBob's noggin and made him all kinds of nutterhausen. He'd better have a few tricks up his sleeve this season b/c right now, I'm thinking it looks kind of bleak.

Dan Mulhausen Tri-City Americans

KENNEWICK, WA - Today, Tri-City Americans general manager Bob Tory announced that the hockey club has traded 19-year-old defenseman Zach Sim to the Medicine Hat Tigers for a 5th round draft pick in the 2009 WHL Bantam Draft.

Sim, listed at 5'11" 186 lbs, came to the Americans after spending two partial seasons with the Everett Silvertips organization. The Saskatoon, SK-native played 43 games for Tri-City in the 2006-07 season. He totaled six goals, 12 points and 32 penalty minutes, while recording a +10 rating, all of which were career-bests.

"Zach came in and helped our team a lot last year," said Tory. "However, with seven returning defensemen, I felt we needed to make room on our depth chart. We wish Zach all the best in Medicine Hat."

grrr..... OK! BOB! that was the last one! My tiny ticker can't take much more.

this one is totally terrible. zach could play defence or forward and was good in both positions. i restate my position about the defence that bobbo is putting too much on young D-men (D-boys?) and the rest on TJ's shoulders, with no guarantee he'll be back. not even Colt-en can be #1 if the rest of the team sucks around him.

all i gotta say is poor chet.

I agree. That's a lot of depth Bob just sent to the Hat. I just hope (my son) Jarrett, Schmitty and *crosses fingers* TJ can handle all the ice time, physicality and responsibility.

Chetters definitely has his work cut out for him, but I have faith he'll rise to the occasion.

leaves only 6 on the active roster (including mesterey who doesn't really count) and i'm assuming mitch mc colm is coming? yikes.

I think with more ice time Mestery will be REALLY good... Clay looked a lot like him his rookie year, and look how he turned out.

Let's just hope FATS remembers that he plays for the red, white and blue, not green, white and blue.
